The RCH Custom Home Team
Owner, Director, and Licensed General Contractor of RCH Custom HomesAfter growing up in Hawley, Raymond graduated from the University of Minnesota, Crookston, in 1996. Raymond initially worked for NRCS/USDA as a conservation project manager, and one of his primary tasks was managing some of the nation’s largest land restoration projects, located in Northern Minnesota. After working for several years in land conservation, use and management, Raymond began to work in the private sector as a real estate and land management professional, establishing Agassiz Land Management, Inc. and becoming a licensed real estate agent. Raymond became the owner and broker of Hawley Realty and Xtreme Trophy Properties in 2010. Raymond managed his first residential construction project in 2002.
RCH Custom Homes was developed soon after, and rapidly grew into a successful home building company. Raymond prides himself on attentive customer service, professional management, and quality project work. Hunting is also a passion of Raymond’s, and he loves to spend his summer evenings on the lake with his wife Lynn and their seven children.
RCH General Manager and RCH Home & Design ManagerShawn works closely on a daily basis with Raymond on every RCH project. He is responsible for working with individualized project budgets and walking our customers through the various finish options available to them, inside and out. Shawn works directly with clients and facilitates their project finish selections, guiding them through their personalized decision making process to help match their personal design style to their project budgets.
Having grown up in West Fargo, ND, Shawn attended Mayville State University, attaining a degree in business education in 1998. Shawn then moved to San Antonio, Texas, where he served as a high school teacher for five years. In 2005, Shawn moved back to Minnesota with his family and settled in Hawley, MN, with Shawn entering the construction industry. After Shawn and his wife, Chastity, built their home with RCH Custom Homes in 2015, Raymond recognized in Shawn a strong work ethic, an intelligent problem solving ability, a keen eye for detail, and interpersonal strengths which match the predominant personality style of RCH Custom Homes staff. Raymond invited Shawn to join the RCH family, and Shawn accepted. We count Shawn as a welcome addition. Shawn and Chastity have three children. When not spending his free time with his family attending school and sports activities, Shawn can frequently be found golfing or watching Minnesota sports, being an avid Vikings, Timberwolves, Wild, and (especially) a Twins fan. Shawn and his family also enjoy relaxing in our lakes area with extended family.
Field Project Manager
Mike works closely with Shawn and Stacey to make sure all RCH projects are progressing forward. Mike is out on-site monitoring and tracking the progress of each new build. Since he is out in the field, he handles a majority of communication between subcontractors and the RCH team to ensure quality in every project. Mike also possesses a wide variety of construction skills that allow him to fix problems and complete tasks himself as they arise.
Mike is originally from Grand Forks, ND and after some time in Washington, he and his wife found themselves back in the North Dakota/Minnesota area. Mike has 4 daughters and 6 grandchildren that keep him busy when he is not at work. He likes to fish, hunt, golf, and read.
Born and raised in San Diego, California, Stacey brings a unique and fresh approach to Design. At a young age, she proudly interned underneath her mother with The Exclusive Touch, a family interior design business. She developed a natural love for creating interior spaces that make people feel good. Many residential projects were obviously influenced by the coastal surroundings, but the diversity of Downtown San Diego and the rural inland communities allowed her to explore more modern and rustic approaches to design as well.
Stacey’s genuine ability to communicate and listen to her clients’ needs and her easy-going disposition makes her an attractive choice and a joy to work with. Her goal is to ensure that the fundamental design and materials used are classic, timeless and perfect for the space. She has enjoyed building many friendships and maintaining solid client relationships since moving here 7 years ago and is happiest enjoying all of what Minnesota has to offer, especially fishing and boating with her husband and children. She also has a great passion for cooking and enjoys preparing traditional family heirloom recipes with her daughter and loves creating new recipes for friends and family to try on a regular basis.
Financial ControllerJodi graduated from Warroad, MN then moved to White Beak Lake, MN after graduating. She lived there until 2007 when she moved to Moorhead, MN to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Twin Cities. Jodi has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from National American University – Roseville, MN. She has worked in the accounting field for the past 19 years in several different industries. Jodi joined the RCH team in May of 2018. She manages the complete budgetary details for all home projects and tracks each project closely to ensure expenditures are credited accordingly and accurately, ensuring customers have no surprises on the bottom line.
When Jodi isn’t at the office, she loves to fish, especially spearing northern pike. She just started bow hunting over the last couple of years. If she isn’t in the outdoors, you can find her reading books, completing puzzles, watching the Vikings, cheering on her kids at their sporting events, or spending time with her dog (that is like her 5th child)!
